The Secure Records Solutions management team just returned from an exciting and productive National Association for Information Destruction Annual Conference in Nashville, TN. The conference was full of networking with friends in the industry, educational and motivating sessions (including one given by our very own Christopher Jones), and recognition in the “Shredding Industry Report”.
We’ve committed to participating in our industry association because it makes us a better company. Our friends in the industry stretch us to consider different ways of serving our clients, and our industry association, NAID, sets the standards for information destruction, such as the AAA NAID Certification we carry. By investing in continuing education, we ensure that our team knows the best practices of the industry, and we share those resources with our shredding clients in the communities we serve in North Florida and South Georgia.
There were many valuable sessions on the best practices of the information management industry, but one was particularly notable, because our very own Christopher Jones was asked to speak. Christopher’s session was on the “untapped records management market,” a subject on which our team has developed an expertise by helping organizations that are storing a large number of hard copy records on their own come up with a plan to eliminate that paper.
We were honored by a vendor, Allegheny Shredders, who included a feature story on the growth of Secure Records Solutions in their most recent issue of The Shredding Industry Report. Christopher Jones was interviewed on the business he and his father Powell Jones have built, and the vision they have for the future of the industry.
