Questions & Answers

Who were your heroes when growing up and how did they influence your life and career?

My daddy was – and still is – my hero. He taught me to have pride in everything I do and give 100%. No matter if it was making my bed, playing tennis, or making important business decisions. Most importantly, he taught to always help those in need. He is always helping neighbors, family, and friends when in need. It could be using his 50+ years as an electrician or his carpentry skills to help with a problem at someone’s, babysitting his best buddy (my son, Gunter) or giving me advice.

What is the toughest business decision you’ve faced?

No matter the circumstances, I always found it extremely difficult deciding to terminate an employee.

What problem do you solve?

I bring a strong sense of organization to the team and keep Powell and the business in line.

Where is the most exotic place you have ever been?

Peter Island, BVI
