March and April have been a whirlwind around here, and it’s easy to see why when I look back over the last year. Our shredding business in Tallahassee, Thomasville, Albany, Tifton, and Valdosta has grown by 43%! While we’ve been busy on boarding new document shredding clients, we’ve also been focused on improving our know-how in the information destruction business.

Our management team just returned from the 2017 NAID Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. NAID is the National Association for Information Destruction. At the conference we got useful updates to legislation that guides the secure destruction of confidential information, such as HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley, and Gramm Leach Bliley, so that we can be better advisors to our clients as they reduce their risk by developing information destruction policies. We also picked up some ideas that will make our operation more efficient, so we can continue saving our clients money with our shredding process.

Most importantly, we just received word from NAID that our AAA Certification, the gold standard for security in the shredding industry, has been approved for the next year. That’s as a result of our team of professionals and the tough security protocols that we all manage, which are independently audited on an annual basis, often with a surprise inspection. If you’d like to learn more about our AAA NAID Certification, I’ve included a quick video below that explains the high standard we set and why it is so important to our business:
